DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel situated in the heart of Doha Old SALATA, is setting the benchmark and is a best practice example for building innovation not only in Qatar but also across the Middle East.

Architect of record for this project ERGA, Qatar.

KCT Contracting and Trading was the general contractor and B+H Architects was hired to review the project for code compliances, sub-trades, shop drawing submissions and to do fully coordinated architectural shop drawings for construction.

Double Tree by Hilton project is a 72.00-meter-high rise building, compose of 2 basements, 16 levels of guest accommodation, ground and mezzanine floors.

Scope of Work :

1. EXTERNAL FACADE: Supply + Fixation of external stone facade

NABK Co. successfully completed the project, delivering excellent quality of work with their experience workers and resources such as manpower and mast climbers.

The application includes, fixation of cut-to-size stones, cutting, structural design calculation, shop drawings and mast climber provision.

NABK Co. supplied and fix the 7,000 sqm.

Applying new stone façade by using Viscount material white Granite and including the fixation system (SS316 Z-Brackets), Rockwool insulation and waterproofing.

2. INTERNAL STONE WORKS: Supply + Fixation of stones for guest bathrooms

NABK Co. accomplished the internal stone works including the vanity tops, using marble material and combined with Corian fascia to obtain the curving required by design.

The application includes that the vanities reached up to 8 meters long and some units must be fixed partially with zero visibility of joints.

Given this challenge NABK Co excellently attain the required quality and finish look of no visible joint lines. 

Also, NABK Co.’s scope includes the bathtub top surface, windowsills, wall borders, W.C. ledges and door thresholds, all using white marble material.
